So, count your duckets, screw your courage to the sticking point and see if you can take down a pirate!

But, wait. We’re still not done. Join us for contests, beer and even Scott Dally!

D&D Camp!

There have been very few times in my life that I have wished I was 12 years-old again. One such rare occurrence came recently when I learned that Guardian Games is offering a learn-to-play Dungeons and Dragons summer camp for kids 12 to 15.

Guardian Games will have two camps to offer this summer. The first camp will be July 11th – 15th, 2011, with the second coming August 15th – 19th, 2011. For both sessions, camp will run from 1:00pm to 5:00pm each day.

With a cost of $125 for five days camp which is sure to afford many amazing adventures in roleplaying. Players/Campers will receive everything they need to roleplay including the official Dungeons and Dragons Player Handbook, their very own D&D dice set of their choice, a mini-figure to represent their character, character sheets, power cards and much… MUCH more.

There is no experience required and imagination is the only limit.

Space is limited to the first 16 players to sign up for each camp, so pull on your Boots of Speed, click your heels and get down to Guardian Games to gather more information and sign up (Note: sign up is only available in the store)

Critical Hit Geeklesque!

After a full day piratical gaming with PDXYAR at GameStorm 13 what better way to unwind then a night of Geeklesque? While the expression may be over used, Critical Hit Burlesque’s Geeklesque will be a uniquely Portland event. Where else will you find a mixture of Geek themes and burlesque performances?

If that isn’t enough to get you off the couch and head to Guardian Games Saturday, March 26th at 8pm, then perhaps we can sweeten the pot. Beyond the performances, there will be raffle and trivia, as well. These will be featuring fabulous prizes from event sponsors Floating World Comics, Hot Lips Pizza, Hollywood Vintage, and yes, you guessed it, PDXYAR!

For a full run down of the event, with a list of performers, check out the Geeklesque Facebook page
